Theodore "Ted" A. Hergenrader, 71, of Argyle, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at his residence.

Lorene Underwood Lewis, of Denton, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007.

Corinth - Edwin "Worth" Jones, Jr., 78, of Corinth, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 in Denton.

Lola V. Ussery
Lola V. Ussery, 82, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007. She was born January 16, 1925 in Altus, OK to Jessie and Ora Burch. She married James
Franklin Ussery in Lubbock, TX on May 15, 1950.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 7 – 8 p.m. at Denton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Denton Funeral Home Chapel burial will follow at Lonesome Dove Cemetery in Grapevine.
Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Ussery of Denton, Bernice Stevens of Denton, Mary Moss of Denton and Alice Davis of Fort Worth; sons, Jay Ussery, Jessie
Ussery and Billy Ussery, all of Denton; sisters, Edith Squires of Lubbock, and Evelyn Ussery of Krum; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous
nephews, nieces and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Wayne Squires; and brothers, Roylee Burch, J.D. Burch, and Carl Burch.
Services are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Jim D. Manuel passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Denton, Texas.
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Galilee
Missionary Baptist Church, Sanger, Texas. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007 in Dallas, Texas at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
Janette Beauchamp Harber
Janette Beauchamp Harber, 62, of Denton passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007. She was born April 14, 1945 in Corpus Christi to Charles P. Beauchamp and Mary Jo Rich Beauchamp. She married Bill Harber on August 24, 1965 in Corpus Christi. Texas She was a member of Denton Bible Church.
Services will be Saturday December 29, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Denton Bible Church with Rev. Jim Hill officiating with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Harber of Denton; mother, Mary Jo Beauchamp of Peachtree City, GA; son, James Harber of Lewisville; grandsons, Ian Harber of Denton and Tristan Harber of Lewisville; sister, Renee Skeels and husband, Dennick, and nieces, Sadie and Katherine Skeels, all of Peachtree City, GA.
Stepheanna "Stevie" Bratcher
Stepheanna "Stevie" Bratcher, 86, of Pilot Point, formerly of Denton, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Sterling House. She was born March 9, 1921 in Stoney, Denton County, Texas to Ottis and Vertna (Howell) Burrow, the youngest of Seven Children. She was married to A. G. Bratcher, Jr. on November 5, 1939 in Decatur, TX. He passed away September 10, 2007. She was a Supervisor for the Foster Grandparents Project at the Denton State School for sixteen years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Church, an avid Camper, having visited 37 states and Canada, and a member of VFW Auxiliary Post #2205.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Phillip Ratliff, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2007 for Visitation.
Mrs. Bratcher is survived by two daughters, Connie Sue Etter and husband, Allen of Pilot Point, TX and Bettye Louise Bratcher of Euless, TX; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Opal Wilson, Avon Burrow, Faye Davenport, Mary Button, J. B. Burrow, and Milton Burrow.

Oneta Lee "Mickey" Cope
Oneta Lee "Mickey" Cope, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 26, 2007. She was born May 11, 1917 in Swifton, AR to Melford Lee Williams and Leo Nora Watson. She was raised in Hillsboro, TX until the 7th grade when she and her father moved to Ponder where she graduated. She married Homer Jerrell "Bottles" Cope from Ponder in Wharton, TX in 1936 and they were married for 48 years. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1984. She was a member of the Justin Baptist Church. She worked at Miss Henley's Dress Shop, Russell's Department Store, was Director of Volunteers at Flow Memorial Hospital and retired from Hospital Photographs.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2007 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Justin Baptist Church with Jason Sidler and Rea Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Eakins Cemetery in Ponder. Pallbearers will be Robby Cope, Ricky Cope, Christopher Cope, Mike Cope, Mark Cope, Steven Paul Cope, Jeff Cope and Thomas Cope.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Cope and wife, Cecile of Justin, Bill Cope of Thayer, KS and Steve Cope and wife, Ruthie of Justin; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcomed or a donation to the building fund at Justin Baptist Church.
Dalton Ernest Kelly
Tioga - Dalton Ernest Kelly, 97, of Tioga, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Sherman. He was born on February 16, 1910 in Burns City, to Emmitt Sebastian and Dovie Mae Lewis Kelly. He married Mamie Ladell Kays on March 25, 1931 in Marietta, OK. He was a member of Tioga United Methodist Church and was a farmer.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Huff Funeral Home in Pilot Point. Jerry Mahle will officiate. Burial will follow at Tioga Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 7 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by two daughters, Juanita Embry of Watauga and Janet McKnight of Tioga; three sons, Ernest Kelly of Collinsville, J.C. Kelly of Mt. Springs and Ted Kelly of Gainesville. He is also survived by three sisters, Fay Snodgrass of Garland, Radia Miller and Shirley Smith, both of Celina. As well as thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Terri Slay and staff at Huff Funeral Home, Pilot Point, TX.
Mark J. Wolfe
Mark J. Wolfe, 51, of Argyle, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in a motorcycle accident in Roanoke. He was born Sept. 17, 1956, in Dallas, and earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in music from the University of North Texas.
He was the tuba professor at the University of Texas at Tyler and principal tubist of both the Shreveport and Longview orchestras. He regularly performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and in brass quintets. He coached young tuba players in several middle schools and high schools in the region. He was a lifelong member of the American Federation of Musicians.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 1897 W. Main St., Lewisville; the Rev. John Staslowski officiating. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville is in charge of the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Cleveland Wolfe Jr.
Mark is survived by his wife, Peggy, and their children, Sam, Michael and Paige, all of Argyle; his daughter, Ashley Laurain Wolfe, of Toluca, Mexico; mother and stepfather, Ann and Jim Ainslie, of Fort Worth; stepmother, Patsy Penick of Baytown; brother, Gary Wolfe, of Plano; sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Sherman Ratliffe, of Grand Prairie; half-sister, Laura Fiffick of Dallas; aunts, Regina Bull, of Liberty City, and Myrta Rathbone, and her husband, Mickey, of San Angelo; and many other members of the extended family.
