We can help
U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess’ remark in the Denton Record-Chronicle on June 26 about how there was nothing that we as individuals can do about the supply of energy, is false.
With all due respect to Rep. Burgess, we as individuals can do a lot about the supply of energy.
We can vote for elected officials who want to drill for oil at home, build atomic power plants, utilize our natural resources such as the wind and water, and conserve energy.
Yes, we can do a lot about the supply of energy, Mr. Burgess, and we ask for your help in making America self-supporting in the energy market.
Tillman E. Uland,
Denton
