TWU senior adds to academic honors

TWU gymnast Amie Boles has been named to the ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America at-large first team.
Boles is the fourth TWU gymnast to earn the honor and the first since Erin MacNabb in 2004. She graduated in May with a kinesiology degree after posting a 3.858 grade-point average.
Among her other honors, Boles was named a USA Gymnastics scholar-athlete three times, and twice earned National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women Scholastic All-American honors. She won the USAG individual national title on floor exercise this spring, and later was chosen as the NACGC/W Division II Regional Gymnast of the Year.
