Swimming & Diving: UNT releases swimming and diving schedule

The North Texas women’s swimming and diving team released its 2008-09 schedule that features nationally ranked opponents Texas A&M and SMU on Thursday.

UNT will face five teams that placed at the 2008 NCAA Championships, including Texas A&M, SMU, Houston, Rice, and Arkansas.  

UNT will host the North Texas Relays in Keller on Oct. 3. The meet will feature TCU, SMU, Missouri State, and Houston. The team will then host the Mean Green Duals on Nov. 8, when Arkansas, SMU, New Mexico State, and Colorado State are expected to compete.

UNT will square off with Utah on Jan. 10 and TCU on Feb. 4.  

The Mean Green travel to College Station to take on Texas A&M and Rice on Oct.10 before traveling to face Houston the following day. UNT will also compete in the Husker Invitational on Nov. 20-23 and the FAU Invitational on Jan. 3.

The Sun Belt Championships will take place in Nashville, Tenn. on Feb. 18-21.

North Texas’ Green and White Meet is set for Sept. 23 and the Alumni Meet for Oct. 4.
