Golf: Liberty golfers to compete in Nelson Junior Championship

Liberty Christian golfers Greg Polledri and Austin Weaver each will compete in the HP Byron Nelson Junior Championship, a three-round tournament beginning today at Lakewood Country Club in Dallas.

Polledri, who will be a senior at Liberty in the fall, finished second in the Match Play Championship tournament at Lake Conroe on June 17.

Weaver, a senior last season for the Warriors, won the TAPPS 4A individual state title in April. Polledri earned the same honor in 2008, with Liberty also winning the TAPPS team title in both years.

Click the "Delete" button.
Click the "OK" button to exit the internet options window.
Refresh the page
