Sponsorship drive underway at TWU’s Pioneer Golf Course08:58 AM CDT on Thursday, September 25, 2008
If there were any doubts that the course staff and university officials had any plans other than to revitalize our treasured Pioneer Golf Course at Texas Woman’s University, they should be quelled now.
Only ten minutes from most residential areas in the City of Denton the Pioneer course is the only public course within the city and becoming more the golf haven we golfers have hoped for these many long years. To be a part in the restoration and revitalization process is now open to all businesses, clubs, and golfers.
The project “On a Course for Distinction” is underway allowing sponsorships of different structures, areas, and holes on the course for extended numbers of years. Sponsorship amounts vary depending on the length of five, seven, or ten year commitments.
For more information and specific sponsor opportunities, call Robin Johnson-Piper at 940-898-3861. Her email address is RJohnsonpiper@twu.edu.
