Girls basketball: Cedar Hill 62, Argyle 53

McKINNEY — Cedar Hill used its athleticism to wear down Argyle late in a 62-53 win Friday at the Collin County Roundball Classic.
Emma Forrer led the Lady Eagles (6-4) with 15 points, while Bailey O’Brien added 13. Argyle rallied from a halftime deficit to take a two-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but couldn’t hold on.
“We actually played pretty good,” said Argyle head coach Steve Schmidt. “They were very athletic, large and fast. They took over in the fourth quarter.”
