Baseball

Gladiators 13U AAA select team is looking for a bracket catcher. A strong arm, good catcher skills and a solid bat are required. Two or more years of select baseball experience desired. Indoor and outdoor practices held in Denton and Sanger. For more information, call 940-367-1435.

 

North Texas Elite is looking for a couple of players for each age division to complete 2010 spring rosters. Age divisions include 6U through 14U, with practices located in the Alliance area for all age groups. Golf

Hockey

Rugby

Softball

Umpires are needed for youth and adult softball games in Denton, Lewisville and surrounding cities. Men and women ages 16 and up are eligible. Training is free, and game schedules are flexible. Swimming

Lakeside Aquatic Club is now accepting athletes for its youth swim team that practices at Texas Woman’s University. No experience is necessary, but swimmers must be able to swim 25 meters on their stomach without assistance. Groups range from beginner to elite. Volleyball

Guyer will be hosting a spring league for girls currently in Grades 6-8. The dates of the league will be April 8, 15, 20 and 22 and players will be guaranteed at least two matches per night, the games will start at approximately 5:30 p.m. The cost is $35 and includes a T-shirt if registered by March 30. The registration deadline is April 2, later registration may be accepted but T-shirt will not be guaranteed.
