Cvetko Patient Education Center is holding a free Breast Cancer Survivor Celebration on Oct. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Davis Auditorium, 17th floor of Roberts Hospital. WALK WITH SPIRIT: Put your best foot forward Monday for a "Walk With Spirit" in the grand court at The Shops at Willow Bend, West Park and Dallas North Tollway, Plano. The free 6:30 p.m. event kicks off with a discussion of bones and joints by Dr. Rosemary Bates, internist at Medical Center of Plano, followed by a walk around the mall to gather healthy living tips hidden in various stores. MIDNIGHT MAMMO MARATHON: Enjoy movies and mammograms until midnight on Oct. 16 at Medical Center of Plano, 4001 W. 15th St. at Coit, Suite 315. First, call 972-612-6500 to schedule your mammogram as late as midnight. Then, from 6:30 p.m. to midnight, put on your PJs or relaxation clothes and enjoy a chick flick and an evening of fun, education and healthy living. Activities for this "Spirit Girls Night Out" include bra fittings, chair massages, makeup and skin-care tips, and hand and foot care, with snacks and chocolate provided.
