Home Depot helps outline eco-options for consumers
12:00 AM CDT on Friday, May 16, 2008
Home Depot recently launched its Eco Options site where you can get tips on how to help protect the environment and save money. The site includes five categories: clean air, energy efficiency, healthy home, sustainable forestry and water conservation.
At the site, you can calculate energy savings from replacing regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent ones, and you can register to attend 30-minute live online workshops or view pre-taped clinics on home-improvement topics.
Access the site via www.homedepot.com (under Corporate Info at the bottom) or www.homedepot .com/ecooptions.
