Has the Dallas Mavericks' bench production suffered since Jerry Stackhouse was sidelined with a right hamstring problem? Is Detroit snowbound?

Yes on both counts.

After the loss against the Pistons on Sunday, the Mavericks were a woeful 1-2 last week, and the absence of Stackhouse and Devin Harris – whose injury has forced Jason Terry into the starting lineup – has put a huge dent in what the Mavericks can accomplish off the bench.

Since Stackhouse went out with a hamstring problem, the bench has been outscored in three of five games, with another game tied by the reserves.

Against Boston on Thursday, the Mavs had just 19 points off the bench, only the third time this season they've been held below 20.
