Does anybody want to talk anymore about how he underachieves in the playoffs? Didn't think so. The big fella has gone bonkers in the series so far, spiked by the 32 points and 19 rebounds he had in Game 3 on Friday. He's established himself as the best player in the series, although Chris Paul backers might argue the point. ... Devean George has quietly had a couple of efficient games off the bench, including five points and five rebounds in 12 minutes on Friday. ... Jannero Pargo can't possibly repeat his career playoff-best 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting from Friday, can he?

He's eight for his last 34 from the field, going back to the middle of Game 1. In spite of that, he's been the best bad shooter he can be. He managed 18 points in Game 3, but he must produce more to take some pressure off of Nowitzki and Jason Terry. ... Paul and David West were a combined 10-for-38 in Game 3. On Saturday, coach Byron Scott said he would take 38 shots from those two players anytime and live with the results. ... Peja Stojakovic was 4-of-12 in Game 3, and he rarely has back-to-back poor shooting games.
Mavericks: Jamaal Magloire (flu-like symptoms) and Tyronn Lue (lower back strain) are day-to-day.
Hornets: None.
