Record: 25-7

No. 3 seed, New Orleans Region

First-round matchup: vs. East Tennessee State (21-11), 7 p.m. Saturday at the Wells Fargo Arena at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa

Outlook: Oklahoma State received its second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth. This is the Cowgirls' highest seed in nine NCAA Tournament appearances. They were a No. 10 seed last year in what was OSU's first NCAA Tournament berth since 1996.

OSU sophomore guard Andrea Riley of Lincoln – SportsDay's Big 12 player of the year – leads the conference in scoring at 22.9 points per game and in steals at 2.8 per game.

East Tennessee State won the Atlantic Sun championship with a win over Jacksonville, securing the program's first NCAA Tournament berth.

This game should be high scoring. OSU ranks 10th in the nation at 76.1 points per game, and East Tennessee State is tied for 14th at 75.2 points per game.
