Copperas Cove duo commits to UNT

DENTON – Copperas Cove teammates Brelan Chancellor and Brandin Byrd said Tuesday that they have orally committed to North Texas.
Chancellor (5-9, 165), a first-team all-District 12-5A selection as a running back, was recruited to be a slot receiver. Byrd (5-11, 190) rushed for 1,061 yards.
Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day recruits in the Class of 2010 can sign letters of intent is Feb. 3.
