Mean Green hopes to protect QB better
10:57 PM CDT on Tuesday, October 21, 2008
DENTON – UNT will be more prepared offensively for Troy than it was a year ago, when the Trojans posted nine sacks against the Mean Green, coach Todd Dodge said.
"We learned a lot from last year and became a better offense because of it," Dodge said.
Dodge said quarterback Giovanni Vizza has made a point of getting rid of the ball quicker since that 45-7 loss. Troy ranks seventh nationally with 3.17 sacks a game.
