Baseball: Oklahoma State 13, Texas Tech 3

STILLWATER, Okla. – Rebel Ridling homered and had four RBIs and Oklahoma State had 18 hits as the Cowboys beat Texas Tech 13-3 on Saturday.

Oklahoma State (37-13, 16-7 Big 12 Conference) clinched its fifth straight conference series win as each of the top eight hitters in the Cowboys' lineup had at least two hits each. Matt Hague and Tom Belza both had three hits for Oklahoma State.

Texas Tech (21-28, 6-17) had its losing streak extended to four games.

Oklahoma State starter Tyler Lyons (9-2) allowed two runs and struck out six batters in six innings. Matt Peck allowed the Red Raiders one hit over the final three innings to record his fifth save of the season.

Donnie Webb's two-run home run keyed Oklahoma State's four-run third inning, and the Cowboys scored six times in the fifth against Texas Tech starter Chad Bettis (4-4) to take a 10-1 lead. Ridling hit his 13th home run of the season, a three-run shot, during the fifth.

Neil Medchill added a solo home run in the eight for Oklahoma State.
