Carson Palmer, QB, Cincinnati: Threw for 316 yards and a TD trifecta.

Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans: His 320-yard, 3-TD performance was marred by 4 turnovers.

Kurt Warner, QB, Arizona: Reached 300 yards with 3 scoring strikes.

Clinton Portis, RB, Washington: Combined for 131 yards and 2 scores.

DeAngelo Williams, RB, Carolina: Galloped for 121 yards and 2 TDs.

Ron Dayne, RB, Houston: Rumbled for 88 yards and a pair of TDs.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona: Snared 11 passes for 171 yards and 2 TDs.

REVISITING SUNDAY'S ADVICE

HITS: Santana Moss was stellar, Kenny Watson was solid, and all my "Sit 'ems" should have sat.

MISSES: Derek Anderson stumbled, LenDale White fumbled and Jerricho Cotchery was just average.
