NHL
That's the number of goals the Stars have produced in the last three games, all losses. Though there are concerns all over the ice, the biggest right now is that Dallas can't fight its way to get to the net for prime scoring chances.
Dallas: D Matt Niskanen (foot) is questionable. D Sergei Zubov (groin/foot) and D Philippe Boucher (sore right shoulder) are out.
Colorado: D Adam Foote (hip) is doubtful. LW Ryan Smyth (concussion), RW Marek Svatos (knee) and D Brett Clark (shoulder) are out.
Colorado has won six straight. ... The Avalanche can compete with the Stars for second-period domination. Colorado has outscored opponents by 13 goals in the middle frame, while Dallas has outscored the opposition by a league-best 30 goals. ... The Stars are 7-4-1 in the second half of back-to-back games this season.
