12:00 AM CDT on Sunday, May 4, 2008

Key matchup: Jeremy Roenick vs. Mike Modano

Roenick is starting to have bite in this series and is looking like he's getting the better of the "Born in the USA" battle. How Modano responds will be a key to the Stars' success.

Key stat: 29:40

That's the average ice time of Sharks defenseman Brian Campbell in the second round, the most of any player in this series.

Injuries

San Jose: D Kyle McLaren (groin) and D Brad Norton (back) are questionable.

Dallas: C/RW Stu Barnes (concussion-like symptoms) is a game-time decision; D Philippe Boucher (hip strain) is out.

Notable

Both teams took Saturday off for travel. ... San Jose is 4-2-0 at American Airlines Center this season. ... Modano won 10 of 15 faceoffs in Game 5. ... Stars D Mark Fistric sat out Game 5 but is likely to return to the lineup in Game 6. ... San Jose was charged with 17 giveaways in Game 5. Dallas wasn't charged with any.
