Nobody has been able to slow down Doan (two goals, four assists, plus-6) in two previous games against the Stars this season, so it will probably be left to Smith to get the job done in goal.
That's the Coyotes' save percentage, ranking them 11th in the NHL. Last season, Phoenix ranked 28th in save percentage at .886. It also ranked 28th in goals-against average at 3.44 and has lowered that to 2.83 this season.
