1. Marty Turco, Stars: Turco won a big goalie battle and stopped all three shooters in the shootout.

2. Dwayne Roloson, Edmonton: Goalie was huge in third period and overtime.

3. Sergei Zubov, Stars: Found his touch in the shootout once again.

1st: Mike Modano took a long pass from Sergei Zubov entering the offensive zone and put a rocket shot on Oilers goalie Dwayne Roloson from the top of the left circle. Roloson made the save, but Dallas recovered the puck, and about 10 seconds later, Modano slipped a pass to Jeff Halpern, who had snuck in behind Roloson. Edmonton then tied the score on Dustin Penner's power-play goal.

2nd: The Oilers dominated early, the Stars dominated late. Edmonton roared out and at one point held a 10-2 edge in shots in the period, but Dallas came back and outshot the Oilers 8-2 over the final eight minutes. Marty Turco came up with a big save on Ales Hemsky at the edge of the net and on a Penner breakaway.

3rd: Both teams had great scoring chances, but both goalies made great saves. Turco stopped a couple of flurries in front of the net, kicked out a Jarret Stoll shot from the slot and stacked the pads on Joni Pitkanen.

OT/SO: It was the fifth consecutive game the Oilers played in overtime. Marty Turco kicked out a Tom Gilbert shot early in the OT and also stopped a Pitkanen shot in the chest. The Stars outshot the Oilers, 7-2, in OT. In the shootout, Zubov beat Roloson and scored on a wrister. Turco stopped Shawn Horcoff to wrap up the win.
