Iginla, a former Stars draft pick who was traded for Joe Nieuwendyk, is the hottest player in the NHL. He has seven goals and three assists in his last four games and helped the Flames finish a six-game road trip at 6-0-0. Niskanen, the Stars rookie defenseman, will probably get the majority of checking assignments against Iginla.
The Flames rank 28th in the NHL in team save percentage at .891. Miikka Kiprusoff has a 17-11-5 record but a 2.83 GAA and .895 save percentage. Calgary ranks 21st in goals-against average at 2.91.
Dallas: RW Jere Lehtinen (sports hernia) and D Philippe Boucher (shoulder) are out.
Calgary: D Rhett Warrener (ankle) is questionable. LW David Moss (leg) is out.
Calgary beat the Stars, 3-2, in overtime Oct. 12 at American Airlines Center. Matthew Lombardi scored the game-winning goal. ...The Stars are 9-3-1 in their last 13 games against the Flames. ...
