TWU junior first baseman Kendra Sancet had added two All-America awards, earning first-team honors from Daktronics and making the National Fastpitch Coaches Association second team.
The Daktronics team was voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
She is the third Pioneer to receive the honors from both organizations in the same season, joining Bailey Vrazel in 2011 and Katie Hines in 2013.
Sancet earned the All-America honors for the first time. She led the Lone Star Conference with 21 home runs and was the team leader with a .432 batting average, 65 RBIs, an .897 slugging percentage and a .528 on-base percentage. Sancet is tied for sixth in Division II in home runs.
