TWU used season-best performances on bars and beam to post a season-high team score of 193.725 against No. 18 Arizona on Friday night at Kitty Magee Arena.
The Wildcats captured the dual meet title with a 195.875 and won all four events.
The Pioneers scored 48.200 or higher on all four events, including 48.900 on bars and 48.300 on beam. TWU scored a 48.200 on vault and rounded its night out with a 48.325 on floor exercise.
"I am very pleased with how we performed tonight," TWU head coach Lisa Bowerman said. "We started every event with little mistakes, but we did not let them bother us and finished strong in each event. Like I said before, our goal is to improve every meet, and we did that with back-to-back season highs."
Senior Rashonda Cannie led the Pioneers with a season-high all-around score of 38.925 to finish second. She scored a 9.675 on vault, 9.775 on bars, 9.725 on beam and 9.750 on floor.
Junior Bethany Larimer was the top finisher on vault for TWU with a 9.775, while freshman Spencer Jones led the Pioneers on beam (9.750) and floor (9.850). Both tied for third overall in those three events.
Senior Chaynade Knowles set a career high on bars with a 9.850 to lead TWU and tied for first overall in the event.
The Pioneers will return to action Feb. 11 when they host Centenary for a dual meet at 7 p.m.
