Former Lake Dallas standout and current Dartmouth quarterback Dalyn Williams has been named to the College Football Performance Awards quarterback watch list for the upcoming season. The award is given to the top quarterback in the Football Championship Subdivision.
Williams started all 10 games for Dartmouth last season as a sophomore and led the Big Green to a 6-4 record, including a 5-2 Ivy League mark. He passed for 1,773 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions and rushed for 563 yards and five scores.
Williams’ 2,336 total yards were the fourth-most in Dartmouth history, and he ranks seventh on the school’s all-time list with 3,572 total yards.
As a senior in 2011, Williams led the Falcons to the third round of the playoffs by passing for 3,945 yards, 37 touchdowns and eight interceptions while rushing for 823 yards and 11 scores, earning Denton Record-Chronicle all-area MVP honors.
