The North Texas volleyball team stretched its winning streak to six games with a three-game sweep of Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday afternoon, winning by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-21.
Carnae Dillard posted 19 kills on a career-high .581 hitting percentage in leading a Mean Green attack that punished the Warhawks with a .357 attack percentage.
The victory moves UNT (16-5) to 2-0 in the Sun Belt West Division.
It is the first time since 2005 that the Mean Green is undefeated through the first two games of Sun Belt play, and the six-match win streak is tied for the third-longest in school history.
