Armani Flannigan, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Central Wyoming College, confirmed late Sunday night that he has committed to UNT.
Flannigan averaged 14.2 points and 6.6 rebounds a game as a sophomore and was named second-team All-Region IX. He shot 56.4 percent from the floor on the season.
Flannigan visited UNT over the weekend and said that he plans to sign a letter of intent in the next few days.
Flannigan will join a recruiting class that also includes three high school players who signed with UNT during the early signing period. Greg Wesley, a forward from Arlington Seguin, Tony Nunn, a center from Oldsmar Christian in Florida, and Josh Friar, a power forward from Kingwood, rounded out UNT’s early signing class.
