SAN ANTONIO — Goalkeeper Lindsey Sisco tied a career high with eight saves, but it wasn’t enough as the Pioneers fell at Incarnate Word on Sunday afternoon.

TWU fell to 5-6-2 on the season and 4-4-1 in the Lone Star Conference.

The Pioneers and Cardinals played to a 0-0 tie in the first half, but Incarnate Word quickly got on the scoreboard in the second half when Sydney Solomon scored in the 51st minute.

Sarah Flores made it 2-0 four minutes later on a three-on-one break, and Jazma Latu finished the scoring in the 70th minute on a rebound off a corner kick.

TWU returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Friday against West Texas A&M at the TWU Soccer Field.
