Volleyball: Jablonska’s triple-double fuels TWU

TWU’s Viktorija Jablonska recorded her fifth triple-double of the season Friday in a 25-20, 24-26, 25-14, 25-18 win over Midwestern State.

Jablonska posted a game-high 17 kills and had 10 assists and 10 digs. Chloe’ Tate, Marcela Alves, Courtnee Davis and Torie Talkington each recorded nine kills. Kayla Rivero had a match-high 41 assists and added 10 digs, and Morgan Wilson posted a match-high 18 digs.

In the fourth set, the Mustangs jumped to a 10-5 lead but TWU rallied to go up 16-15. The Pioneers then scored nine of the final 12 points.

TWU (17-6, 11-4 Lone Star) will host Cameron at 2 p.m. today.
