Viktorija Jablonska added one more honor to her list of accolades with Monday’s announcement that she earned All-America honorable mention from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The senior right-side hitter is the first volleyball player in TWU history to earn All-America recognition.

A native of Latvia, Jablonska recorded eight triple-doubles this season with kills, assists and digs. She led the Pioneer offense with 402 kills, a .312 hitting percentage, 25 aces and 466 1/2 points, and she posted double-digit kills in 23 matches.

Jablonska also recorded 250 assists, 223 digs and 71 blocks.

She became the first TWU volleyball player to earn Lone Star Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors in 2011. Jablonska landed on the all-conference first team in 2011 and 2012.

She also was selected to the AVCA All-South Central Region first team, Daktronics All-South Central Region first team and the LSC all-tournament team this season.
