Ria Pateraki scored 16 points on 70 percent shooting, but it wasn’t enough as the TWU Pioneers dropped its final road game of the season in a 73-63 loss to Midwestern State in Wichita Falls.
The Pioneers (6-19, 4-15 Lone Star Conference), who are out of the running for a berth in the league tournament, will finish the season at home against Cameron at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Also scoring in double figures for TWU were Toree Mason with 12 points and Rebekah Cluley with 10. Cluley also had a team-high eight rebounds.
