TWU head coach Beth Jillson and athletic director Chalese Connors announced Thursday the hiring of Taylor High as assistant coach.

High comes to TWU from Pratt (Kan.) Community College, where he had served as assistant women’s coach since 2011. He was in charge of scouting, recruiting, scheduling nonconference games, film and video editing. High also oversaw academic progress of players and strength and conditioning.

He spent three seasons at Dodge City Community College as an assistant women’s coach. High served as head manager for the Kansas men’s program under head coach Bill Self for four years. He was responsible for managing the student support staff, assisting the coaching staff and assisting in pre-draft workouts for NBA hopefuls.
