NFL teams will be held accountable for draft-day gambles

Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham dropped to the third round of the NFL draft after he admitted failing drug tests in college. In the past, there has been little risk for NFL teams drafting players with character concerns. That's about to change, writes Rick Gosselin. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said that violations of the personal conduct policy would not only cost the player but the team as well.
