Football: Defense helps out Falcons

WICHITA FALLS -- As good as Lake Dallas’ offense has been this season, it was only a matter of time before the Falcons’ defense would even things up. The Falcons entered Friday night’s game at Memorial Stadium with the fourth-best Class 4A offense in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but in Friday’s 42-21 win over Wichita Falls, the Falcons got a lot of help from their defense.
