TUCSON, Ariz. - The North Texas women struggled in Tuesday's final round of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational, shooting 31-over par and finishing in 10th place.
The Mean Green finished the three-round event at 68-over par, five strokes behind San Diego State. No. 22 Arizona won the tournament at 13 under, 12 shots ahead of top-ranked UCLA.
Addison Long had the best final round for the Mean Green, shooting a 4-over 76 and finishing tied for 36th place alongside teammate McKenzie Ralston.
UNT next heads to Boulder City, Nev., on Feb. 20 for the two-day UNLV Rebel tournament.
