SAGINAW — Ashtyn Lovett scored 12 points and Morgan Davis added 11 to lead Ryan past Saginaw 51-43 on Friday.

The Lady Raiders (2-0) will play host to McKinney at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Trailing 11-8 after the opening quarter, the Guyer Lady Wildcats outscored Fort Worth Southwest 46-11 over the next three quarters for the blowout win in the Guyer Shootout.

Quamese Moss led all scorers with 16 points for the Lady Wildcats (2-0), who will play Fort Worth Western Hills at 3 p.m. today.

LITTLE ELM — The Denton Lady Broncos used a balanced scoring attack led by April Pena and a big second and fourth quarter to knock off Little Elm for their second victory of the season.

Pena led the Lady Broncos (2-0) with 14 points while Jordan Hudspeth was next in line with 8 and six others were in the scoring column for Denton.

The Lady Broncos used a 13-point second quarter to take a 20-13 halftime lead. After the Lady Lobos outscored Denton 14-7 in the third frame to tie the game the Lady Broncos went on a 11-4 fourth quarter run to claim the win.
