PONDER — The Ponder Lions held visiting Paradise to single-digit points in each quarter of a 63-25 rout in District 9-2A action on Friday.

Chase Harris led Ponder with 21 points and Clay Morgan added 12.

The Lions (16-7, 2-1 district) play at Alvord at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

SANGER — The Sanger Indians (8-11) put up 22 first-quarter points en route to an easy victory over Springtown.

Tyler Roelofs led all players with 15 points while Wilding Smith tallied 11 for Sanger.

Late Thursday, Sanger defeated Melissa 44-42. Roelofs scored 18 points in the win.

The Indians will play for the third day in a row, at Aubrey at 3 p.m. today.

ARGYLE — Behind the 24-point effort of Vivian Gray, the Argyle Lady Eagles ran their season record to 22-1 with a 27-point victory over Crandall.

Jesse Sheridan followed Gray, who also had six rebounds, with 18 points, four assists and three steals. Delaney Sain pulled down nine rebounds for Argyle, which will play at Carrollton Ranchview at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles also defeated the Home School Athletic Association 70-42 on Thursday night behind 21 points from Sain.
