Below are the Denton Record-Chronicle High School Football Game Changers for Week 8:
Christian Battle, WR, Braswell
Battle only caught three passes on Thursday, but he scored on all of them while piling up 82 receiving yards in Braswell's 54-41 win over Wichita Falls. Battle scored on receptions of 62, 13 and 7 yards and accounted for almost all of Braswell's 132 passing yards.
Gavin Brown, RB, Sanger
Brown was a steady workhorse all night while leading Sanger to a 49-21 win over Burkburnett to even the Indians' district record at 1-1. The senior running back piled up 158 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.
Chase Petter, DL, Argyle
Petter has been a tackling machine all season for the Eagles and turned in another noteworthy performance Friday while racking up 12 tackles. Five of those tackles were behind the line of scrimmage, including three sacks.
Spencer Sanders, QB, Ryan
Sanders did a little bit of everything in Ryan's 53-19 win at Sherman. The senior and Oklahoma State commit completed 17 of his 26 passes for 331 yards and four touchdowns. Sanders also rushed for 16 yards and caught one pass for 14 yards while hurdling a defender on the play.
Greyson Thompson, QB, Braswell
Thompson turned in his best outing of the year while guiding Braswell to its first win in program history. The sophomore signal caller was cool under pressure while completing all but four of his pass attempts for 132 yards and four touchdowns.

Mitchell Lesue, DB, Braswell — 6 tackles, 2 INTs.
Connor Payton, LB, Liberty Christian — 7 tackles, 38 yard fumble return for TD, 1 INT.
Jamarion Robertson, WR, Ryan — 6 catches, 139 yards, 1 TD.
Elijah Thibodeaux, DB, Denton — 17 tackles, 1 for loss, 1 INT, 88 yard kickoff return for TD.
