Below are the Denton Record-Chronicle High School Football Game Changers for Week 9:
Hayden Clearman, DB, Argyle
Clearman might be Argyle's new starting quarterback by the end of this week given the injury to Jon Copeland, but he's coming off a solid defensive performance against Sanger. Clearman racked up 18 tackles in the 42-14 win and was part of a defense that forced three turnovers.
Kaedric Cobbs, RB, Guyer
Cobbs continues to dominate opposing defenses. In a tight win against Wylie, the bruising back piled up 227 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. His performance included the eventual game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Jon Copeland, QB, Argyle
Copeland threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 79 yards on the ground with another score in Argyle's win over Sanger. Unfortunately, the senior quarterback had his breakout season come to a close as he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
Spencer Sanders, QB, Ryan
Sanders did all his damage in the first half Thursday, completing 13 of 15 passes for 230 yards and five touchdowns in Ryan's win over Wichita Falls. The Oklahoma State commit also carried the ball four times for 117 yards with a 77-yard touchdown run.
Spencer Neumann, LB/RB, Aubrey
Neumann had a very busy night on both sides of the ball while piling up 13 tackles and adding 160 rushing yards and three scores in Aubrey's win. Neumann also had one forced fumble, two sacks and two tackles for loss in the win.
