Football: Game Changers

Below are the Denton Record-Chronicle High School Football Game Changers for Week 11:

Kaedric Cobbs, RB, Guyer
Cobbs continues his ascent to becoming one of the best running backs to grace the Guyer backfield. In a lopsided win over Plano West to close out the regular season, Cobbs carried the ball eight times for 109 yards and one touchdown.

Gabriel Douglas, WR, Ryan
Douglas, a Texas Tech commit, caught eight passes for 139 yards and scored twice in Ryan's win over Wichita Falls Rider. His performance helped the Raider offense score 56 points for a second straight week to close out the regular season.

Ki'Andre Jackson, RB, Braswell
Jackson may not have scored a touchdown on Friday, but his performance running the football was more than enough to help Braswell control the clock en route to a 30-16 win over Denton. Jackson rushed for 101 yards on 15 carries as the Bengals' primary workhorse.

Spencer Sanders, QB, Ryan
Sanders guided Ryan to a program-first third straight 10-0 regular season on Thursday with a win over Wichita Falls Rider. He completed 14 of his 21 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 166 yards and another score.

Tre Turner, LB, Guyer
Turner recorded seven tackles, two for loss, with four quarterback pressures and three sacks in Guyer's blowout win over Plano West. He also recorded a fumble recovery on the goal line to spur the defensive effort.
