PILOT POINT AT AUBREY

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Chaparral Stadium

Records: Pilot Point (3-0), Aubrey (0-3)

What’s on the line: After breaking a long losing streak to Pilot Point last season, Aubrey looks to regain the edge in this historic rivalry. Aubrey will try to pick up its first win of the season and in the process hand Pilot Point its first loss.

Pilot Point player to watch: WR Mason Richey

Aubrey player to watch: RB Daniel Loughenry

ARLINGTON GRACE AT LIBERTY

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Bowles Stadium

Records: Grace Prep (1-2), Liberty Christian (2-1).

What’s on the line: Liberty will try to bounce back from last week’s loss to a tough Celina squad. In their final nondistrict game, the Warriors face an Arlington Grace Prep squad that barely beat Fort Worth Country Day by two points last week.

Grace Prep player to watch: WR Nate Hodapp

Liberty Christian player to watch: QB Foster Ford

PARADISE AT KRUM

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Bobcat Stadium

Records: Paradise (0-3), Krum (3-0)

What’s on the line: Krum can improve to 4-0 with another win over a Class 2A opponent. Even though the Bobcats will soon start a 3A district campaign, any win at this point is good for the emerging program and its confidence.

Paradise player to watch: TE/DE Jarrett Roper

Krum player to watch: QB Caz Wojciak

BOYD AT SANGER

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Indian Stadium

Records: Boyd (1-2), Sanger (0-3)

What’s on the line: The Indians are still searching for the first win of the season behind a retooled offense trying to find its identity. A below-.500 Class 2A opponent could be the perfect recipe just to get some confidence brewing within the young Indians program.

Boyd player to watch: QB Blake McDonald

Sanger player to watch: RB Derek Shelby

PONDER AT NOCONA

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Jack Crain Stadium

Records: Ponder (2-1), Nocona (3-0)

What’s on the line: Ponder will try to carry the momentum from last week’s dominating win over Fort Worth Castleberry into this week’s matchup against Nocona. The Lions will have plenty with which to contend, including Nocona’s all-state running back Tate Fenoglio.

Ponder player to watch: RB Brennan Sooter

Nocona player to watch: RB Tate Fenoglio
