What’s on the line: Pilot Point suffered an upset loss to rival Aubrey last week, and the Bearcats will undoubtedly be looking to start District 5-2A (Division I) play on a positive note. Callisburg is undefeated so far this season.

What’s on the line: Krum can improve to 5-0 but must prove it can handle a Class 3A opponent after playing 2A teams up to this point. The Bobcats have rolled through opponents so far, averaging 44 points per game.

What’s on the line: When it comes to momentum, both Liberty and Prestonwood have plenty of it. Last week, Liberty throttled Arlington Grace Prep last week, while Prestonwood rolled past Dallas Roosevelt 66-0.

What’s on the line: Sanger is still looking for its first victory with a new offensive system after suffering a heartbreaking two-point loss to Boyd last week. Aubrey is brimming with confidence after beating rival Pilot Point last week for its first win of the year and seeing QB Kyle Lynn return from injury.

Records: Carrollton Harmony (0-0), Calvary (1-2)

What’s on the line: Both teams didn’t played last week, both for different reasons. Calvary was off, while Carrollton Harmony will play its first game of the regular season after their league folded.

Calvary player to watch: RB Matt Hood

What’s on the line: Coming off a loss in which they werehaunted by turnovers, the Lions will try to put last week’s game against Nocona behind them and face a Whitesboro team that’s won two straight games. It’s the districtopener for Ponder.
