Kevin Dillman, a high-level quarterback prospect, enrolled and started school at Guyer on Monday after moving from La Mirada High School in the Los Angeles area.

The Sweden native moved to California prior to high school, became one of the top quarterback prospects in the country and will play his senior season at Guyer.

“It’s his first day of school,” Guyer coach John Walsh said. “There’s a kid by the name of Kevin Dillman here, and that’s all I know. I can confirm he is enrolled at Guyer High School right now.”

Dillman has 16 offers from universities like UCLA, Clemson and national champion Florida State. He’s 6-4, 220 pounds and from online videos appears to be a true dual-threat signal caller capable of making throws. He runs the ball effectively and had several kickoff return touchdowns. He missed much of his junior season at La Mirada due to an Achilles tendon injury.

Dillman could replace starter Jerrod Heard, who is set to sign with Texas on Wednesday after winning back-to-back Class 4A Division I state titles. Heard was a three-year starter at Guyer after J.W. Walsh started for three seasons before heading to Oklahoma State.

According to 247sports.com, Dillman is a five-star recruit and the second-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the national class of 2015, one spot ahead of Allen star Kyler Murray. He’s No. 71 in the ESPN Junior 300 rankings for the class of 2015.

Walsh said Guyer will file Dillman’s paperwork with the UIL and expects to have his move-in approved in the next few weeks.
