Ryan 8, The Colony 2

THE COLONY - Despite falling behind early on Monday to District 4-4A foe The Colony, freshman pitcher Carol Raabe came up big at the plate.

After Micah Foutch walked and Samantha Bridges reached on an error, Raabe roped a two-run double down the left field line to even the game, where it remained until the seventh inning.

Then, Raabe set the table for Ryan (14-8, 2-0) with a single and a stolen base to start the scoring off on a 6-run seventh inning to break the game open.
