Denton displayed its best offensive output of the season, defeating Decatur 6-0.
Roberto Gutierrez picked up the first goal of the game in the ninth minute. The assist was made by Pedro de Santana. Gutierrez would strike again in the 13th minute, with the assist by Juan Vargas.
Josh Harden would score two straight goals in the 18th and 51st minutes to further pad the lead.
Juan Borda scored in the 72nd minute with the assist by Harden. Michael Husbands scored the final goal unassisted in the 74th minute.
Denton begins district play Tuesday at Lake Dallas.
Guyer 1, Justin Northwest 0
JUSTIN - Guyer was victorious in the District 7-5A opener, limiting Justin Northwest to only two shots on goal.
Edgar Jimenez scored in the lone goal in the 51st minute. The assist was credited to Travis Leach.
Guyer plays host to Coppell at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Liberty Christian 3, Argyle 0
ARGYLE - Liberty Christian defeated crosstown rival Argyle in preparation for a road game against Dallas Spruce on Friday.

Guyer 3, Justin Northwest 2
JUSTIN - Guyer (6-2-2, 1-0) won its district opener with a road win over Justin Northwest.
Guyer was in control throughout, as Northwest scored its two goals late in the second half.
Brittany Crabtree picked up the hat trick for the Lady Wildcats. Crabtree's first goal came in the 4th minute, with the assist from Megan Stokes.
Crabtree then connected on a free kick from 22 yards out in the 34th minute.
In the 35th minute, Crabtree completed the trifecta with an assist from Hannah Alspach.
Denton 1, Carrollton Newman Smith 0
CARROLLTON - In the 72nd minute, Taylor Kennedy scored the game's only goal to give Denton (5-2-1) the win.
Marisol Amaya was credited with the assist.
Denton will play at home against Cedar Hill at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Ryan 4, Liberty Christian 0
ARGYLE - Ryan went on a scoring tear in the second half to easily defeat Liberty Christian.
Courtney Wilson picked up the first goal in the 42nd minute with the assist from Madi Beard. Six minutes later, Lindsey Eccles scored, with the assist from Stevie Harris.
Harris kicked in a goal in the 60th minute with Makayla Knabe assisting. Wilson would then score her second goal 10 minutes later, with the assist from Rebecca Benton.
