FORT WORTH — Denton fell to Fort Worth Brewer in five sets, 25-22, 12-25, 9-25, 25-19, 15-11 on Tuesday night, dropping the Lady Broncos to 3-3 in District 5-4A and 17-14 on the season.
Kendall Wagner led the Lady Broncos with 16 kills and 10 digs, while Morgan Reese recorded 27 assists. Gennifer Holberg had 11 kills on the night and Jade Akins added seven kills.
Frisco Lone Star d. Aubrey
AUBREY — Aubrey dropped to 0-2 in District 10-3A play after falling at home in four sets, 25-14, 19-25, 25-20, 25-10.
Maggie McCullough led the Lady Chaparrals (14-14) with 13 kills, four blocks and two aces.
Fort Worth Nolan Catholic d. Liberty Christian
ARGYLE — Olivia Asprey recorded 15 digs, 13 kills, 10 assists and three aces, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Warriors fell to the Vikings in TAPPS District 5-A play.
Liberty fell to 15-15 and 1-5 in district play.
Paige Jeary recorded 28 assists, 10 digs and four aces for the Lady Warriors, while Alli Eager finished with six kills and two aces.
“It was a great game for Nolan, but we just made some errors in key moments,” Liberty head coach Kimberly Weaver said. “Hopefully we’ll come out on top when we play each other next.”
Pilot Point d. Caddo Mills
CADDO MILLS — The Lady Cats remained undefeated in District 12-2A with a 25-23, 16-25, 25-17, 25-17 victory.
Pilot Point (22-6) is now 5-0 in district play.
Andrea Campbell led the Lady Cats with 18 kills, nine digs and three blocks. Feliciana Reed recorded 40 assists and eight digs, while Kirby Smith had 14 kills and Sierra Brooks had 10 digs.
