Madison Walford’s 18 assists and six digs led the Guyer Lady Wildcats to a 25-11, 25-19, 25-16 victory over visiting Fort Worth Brewer on Tuesday night.
Mikayla Yates recorded 16 kills, while Emily Gorr had 11 digs for the Lady Wildcats.
Argyle d. Celina
CELINA — The Lady Eagles improved to 5-0 in District 10-3A after defeating Celina 24-14, 25-12, 25-13.
Katy Keenan led the Argyle (26-10) with nine kills and three service aces. Sierra James and Brooke Robertson each had seven kills, while Laine Lowry had nine digs.
Liberty Christian d. Bishop Dunne
ARGYLE — Alli Eager had nine digs, three kills and two aces to lead the Lady Warriors to a 25-14, 25-17, 25-23 victory over Bishop Dunne.
Liberty Christian improved to 2-8 in TAPPS 5-A and 16-17 on the season.
Hailey Higgins recorded 11 digs and Emily Howard followed with 10. Paige Jeary finished with eight assists for the Lady Warriors.
“The girls paid attention in film, and came out, did what they were supposed to do and competed, giving us the win,” Liberty head coach Kimberly Weaver said.
Aubrey d.Carrolton Ranchview
AUBREY — Aubrey won its first district match, beating Carrolton Ranchview 21-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 15-12. Aubrey improved to 1-4 in District 10-3A play.
Maggie McCullough led the Lady Chaparrals (16-15) with 19 kills, 14 digs and 11 blocks, while Kelsey Scribner had 15 kills.
Azle d. Lake Dallas
AZLE — The Lake Dallas Lady Falcons dropped to 3-7 in District 5-4A and 12-23 overall after losing to Azle 25-13, 26-28, 25-18, 25-22.
Denton Calvary d. Watauga Harvest Christian
The Denton Calvary Academy Lions remained undefeated in district play following a 25-11, 25-16, 25-17 sweep of Watauga Harvest Christian Academy Tuesday night.
