Basketball roundup: Roeloss scores 26 to help lead Sanger

SHERMAN — Tyler Roeloss scored 26 points to lead the Sanger Indians to a 76-69 win over Sherman on Monday night.

Sanger (2-1) also got 13 points from Jake Anthony, while Wilding Smith added 12.

Quamese Moss and Bre Clay-Baker led the Lady Wildcats to their sixth win of the season against no losses with a two point win over Gainesville.

The Lady Wildcats turned up the defensive pressure in the second half to hold Gainesville to 15 second half points after the Lady Leopards held a 32-28 halftime advantage.

Moss scored 14 points while Clay-Baker added 11.

Despite a strong effort from Mariah Young, who had 11 points, Ryan fell to Argyle.

Danielle Richardson had 10 points for the Lady Raiders (4-7), while Jefferyonna Holley recorded seven points.

Allea Harris led Argyle with 15 points while Delaney Sain added14 points and Jesse Sheridan had 10 points.
