HALTOM CITY — After a disappointing loss to Hurst L.D. Bell on Tuesday night, the Guyer Wildcats recovered Wednesday and started the Northeast Lions Club Tournament with a 51-41 win over Fort Worth O.D. Wyatt.
Miles Crawford scored 17 points to lead Guyer (2-1), while Zack Duncan scored nine points and Josh Jordan scored eight.

SANGER — Tanner Thomas scored 14 points to lead Sanger past Fort Worth Carter-Riverside at the Sanger tournament.
Drew Lyons scored 11 points for the Indians (5-1), while Jake Stastny had 10.

LAKE WORTH — Clay Morgan scored 27 points to lead the Ponder Lions to a victory over Fort Worth Christian, winning their first game of the Lake Worth tournament.
