FORT WORTH — Liberty Christian opened its baseball season with two wins in the Texas Private School Classic on Thursday afternoon.
The Warriors opened with a 7-2 victory over Dallas Parish Episcopal. Hayden Holley picked up the win on the mound. Ethan Luna went 4-for-4 with a double and Luke Chavez went 3-for-4.
In the second game, Liberty defeated Austin St. Stephens 10-0. The game ended in four innings via the run rule. Connor McMann batted 3-for-3 and had three runs, and Garret Carter went 2-for-3. Luna pitched the four-inning shutout.

Argyle/Liberty tournament
ARGYLE — Denton fell to Sanger 3-1 and then fell to Frisco Centennial 5-4.
Argyle fell to Prosper 5-3, recovered and beat Sherman 1-0.
Sanger defeated Wylie East 17-0.
Ponder defeated Christian Homeschool 3-0 and went on to beat Canyon Creek 10-2.
Liberty fell to Brock 2-1.
Pilot Point 9, Celina 1
CELINA — Pilot Point’s Skylar Cagle racked up 10 strikeouts and stymied Celina’s offense in 9-1 victory. It was the first game of the season for both teams.
Pilot Point sophomore shortstop Preslee Galloway hit a two-run homer over the center field wall in the fifth inning.
Celina mustered only three hits all afternoon, matching its number of errors.
